Ingredients
- 16 Chicken wings Drum sticks and flats (about 4 or 5 per portion)
- 2 tsp Extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp Chicken Seasoning rub Montreal chicken seaoning or your preferred seasoning rub
- 2 cloves Garlic grated
- 4 tsp Hot sauce
- 3 tbsp Scallions chopped
- 6 tbsp Honey
- 4 tbsp Ranch dressing (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the grill on medium heat. (can also be made in the oven preheated to 400 degrees if not using a grill)
- Toss the chicken wings in a bowl with oil and seasoning rub; season generously with salt and pepper.
- Make sure the grill is hot. Place the wings on the grill and cook on both sides, about 8 -10 minutes per side. Check the internal temperature with a thermometer to reach 160 degrees. (Allow the wings to get a nice crispy char but not burn, adjust the heat level accordingly)
- Meanwhile in a bowl, whisk the garlic, hot sauce, scallions, and honey. Adjust the ingredients as needed to taste.
- When the wings are done toss them with the sauce. Serve with ranch dressing for dipping if desired.
