Ingredients
- 3/4 pound Ground beef
- 2 tbsp Steak seasoning Montreal steak seasoning or equivalent brand
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp Extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 cup Onion minced
- 12 Slider buns presliced in half if available
- 6 oz American cheese or your choice of cheese
- 1 cup Pickles sliced into thin rounds or half moons
- 2 oz Potato chips as needed
Sauce
- 3 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Ketchup
- 1 tbsp Relish
- 1/2 tsp Chili powder
- 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven broiler on low.
- Mix together the ground beef, steak seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce, season generously with salt and pepper. Portion the beef evenly into small patties to fit the buns.
- Preheat a cast iron skillet or non-stick pan over medium heat. Once hot add the oil and onions. Saute until they start to soften then push to the side of the pan, stirring occasionally until they turn golden brown. Place the sliders into the pan (in batches if needed). Cook on both sides for about 1 minute per side.
- Don't separate the buns individually. Slice the buns in half creating a top sheet and a bottom sheet. Lightly toast the buns to golden brown.
- Place the burgers onto the bottom sheet of buns and top with cheese. Place underneath the oven broiler to melt. Once melted top with onions, pickles, some chips for crunch, and top bun sheet.
- In the meantime, whisk together all of the ingredients for the sauce in a bowl.
- Portion and serve the sauce on the side for dipping.
