Ingredients
Croissant Breakfast Sandwich
- Butter for cooking
- 4 Eggs
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 Croissants
- 4 oz Deli ham
- 2 slices Cheddar cheese
Fruit
- 2 cup Fresh fruit i.e. berries, banana slices etc
Coffee
- Coffee
- Your choice of sweetener
- Your choice of creamer
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C)..
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Crack the eggs into the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and scramble until just set.
- Place the croissants in the preheated oven for 3-5 minutes or until warm.
- Slice the croissants in half.
- On the bottom half, layer each croissant with a slice of ham or bacon, scrambled eggs, and a slice of cheese.
- Place the assembled croissants back in the oven for 2-3 minutes to melt the cheese.
- While the sandwiches are in the oven, arrange fresh fruit on a serving plate.
- Brew your favorite coffee using your preferred method. Add sweetener and creamer if desired.
- Remove the croissant breakfast sandwiches from the oven.
- Place each sandwich on a plate alongside the fresh fruit.
- Serve with a cup of hot brewed coffee.
