Ingredients

Croissant Breakfast Sandwich

  • Butter for cooking
  • 4 Eggs
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 Croissants
  • 4 oz Deli ham
  • 2 slices Cheddar cheese

Fruit

  • 2 cup Fresh fruit i.e. berries, banana slices etc

Coffee

  • Coffee
  • Your choice of sweetener
  • Your choice of creamer

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C)..
  • In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Crack the eggs into the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and scramble until just set.
  • Place the croissants in the preheated oven for 3-5 minutes or until warm.
  • Slice the croissants in half.
  • On the bottom half, layer each croissant with a slice of ham or bacon, scrambled eggs, and a slice of cheese.
  • Place the assembled croissants back in the oven for 2-3 minutes to melt the cheese.
  • While the sandwiches are in the oven, arrange fresh fruit on a serving plate.
  • Brew your favorite coffee using your preferred method. Add sweetener and creamer if desired.
  • Remove the croissant breakfast sandwiches from the oven.
  • Place each sandwich on a plate alongside the fresh fruit.
  • Serve with a cup of hot brewed coffee.
