Ingredients

Cucumber Infusion Water

  • 1/2 Cucumber thinly sliced
  • 24 oz Water cold
  • Ice cubes optional
  • Fresh mint optional

Club Sandwich

  • 4 slices Bacon
  • 6 slices Your choice of bread square shape works best
  • 4 tsp Mayonnaise
  • 4 tsp Yellow mustard
  • 4 leaves Lettuce
  • 4 slices Tomato
  • 6 oz Deli turkey breast
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese optional
  • 8 Toothpicks

Cheese and Crackers

  • 8 Crackers
  • 8 slices Your favorite block cheese example: pepper jack cheddar gruyere, etc.

Instructions

  • Prepare Cucumber Water: In a pitcher, combine the thinly sliced cucumber and water. Allow the cucumber to infuse the water for at least 10 minutes in the refrigerator. Serve with ice cubes for extra chill and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
  • Cook Bacon: Place the bacon slices in a cold skillet. Heat the skillet over medium heat and cook the bacon until it's crispy and browned, typically 4-6 minutes per side.
  • Transfer the cooked bacon to a plate lined with paper towels to remove excess grease. Set aside.
  • Prep Club Sandwich: Lay out the slices of bread. Spread mayonnaise and/or mustard as desired on one side of each bread slice.
  • Assemble each club sandwich by layering the ingredients as follows: bread slice, lettuce, tomato, bread slice, turkey, bacon, cheese, bread slice.
  • Secure each sandwich with 4 toothpicks. The sandwich will be cut into 4 small triangles, so make sure the toothpicks are in the centers of the triangles.
  • Cut each sandwich diagonally into four small triangles.
  • Lay the cheese slices onto the crackers.
  • Serve the Meal: Enjoy your club sandwich with cheese and crackers and cucumber water.
