Ingredients
Chop Cheese
- 1 tsp Extra-virgin olive oil
- ½ Onion sliced
- 8 oz Ground beef
- ½ tsp Salt adjust to taste
- ½ tsp Black pepper adjust to taste
- ½ tsp Garlic powder adjust to taste
- 2 slices American cheese
- 2 slices Cheddar cheese
- 2 Sub rolls
- 2 TBSP Mayonnaise
- 2 tsp Ketchup
- 4 leaves Romaine lettuce
- 4 slices Tomato
- 1 cup Carrots peeled and cut into 3 inch-long sticks
- 1/2 cup Ranch dressing
Lemon Sparkling Water
- 24 oz Sparkling water
- 1 Lemon sliced
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- * Optional: preheat the oven to 350F. Warm the rolls on a baking sheet about 3 - 5 minutes to lightly toast.
- * Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Add a drizzle of oil. Sauté the onion until translucent.
- * Add ground beef into the skillet, chopping it up into smaller pieces until no longer pink. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- * Lower the heat to medium low. Add the cheese slices over the chopped beef mixture and allow to melt mixing everything together until combined.
- * Spread mayonnaise and ketchup inside the rolls.
- * Layer the rolls with lettuce, tomato, and beef mixture. Cut in half if preferred.
- * Mix sparkling water with lemon slices.
- * Serve with carrot sticks, ranch dressing, and sparkling lemon water.
