Ingredients
Greek Chicken Gyros:
- 8 oz Chicken breast boneless skinless thinly sliced
- 2 TBSP Extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 tsp Dried oregano
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 Tortilla wraps
- 1 cup Tomatoes diced
- 1 cup Cucumbers diced
- ½ cup Red onion sliced
- ½ cup Feta cheese crumbled
Tzatziki Sauce:
- 1 clove Garlic minced
- 1/4 tsp Fresh dill
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 tsp Lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Pita Chips and Hummus:
- 4 oz Pita chips
- 1/2 cup Hummus
Homemade Lemonade
- 1 ½ cups Lemon juice fresh squeezed
- 20 oz Water
- 2 TBSP Sugar use to taste
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Prep Ingredients: Thinly slice the chicken breasts and place them in a bowl. In a separate bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture over the sliced chicken, toss to coat, and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes. Prep rest of ingredients.
- Prepare Tzatziki Sauce: mix all ingredients together until fully combined.
- Cook Chicken: Heat a skillet or pan over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken slices and saute until cooked through and nicely browned. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Assemble Gyros wraps: Lay out each tortilla and layer with cooked chicken, diced tomatoes, diced cucumbers, sliced red onions, crumbled feta cheese, and a drizzle of tzatziki sauce.
- Mix all the ingredients for the lemonade.
- Serve: Place the assembled gyros on plates, serve with pita chips and hummus, and pour glasses of homemade lemonade. Enjoy your delicious meal!
