Cherry BBQ Chicken Wings

Ingredients

  • 10 Chicken wings Drum sticks and flats (about 4 or 5 per portion depending on size)
  • 1/2 tbsp Chicken Seasoning rub Montreal chicken seaoning or your preferred seasoning rub
  • 2 tbsp Cherry BBQ Sauce or more if needed (or use your favorite BBQ Sauce (try a locally made sauce if available)
  • 1 tbsp Scallions chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  • Toss the chicken wings in a bowl with a seasoning rub; season generously with salt and pepper. Layer onto a foil lined baking sheet, try not to overlap the wings. Cook to an internal temperature of 160 degrees using a thermometer. Flip the wings over about halfway through cooking so you get a crispiness on all sides.
  • When the wings are done toss them with the sauce. Garnish with scallions.
