Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Sliced almonds
- 1/4 cup Water
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Orange juice
- 1/2 cup Fresh cherries pitted
- 2/3 cup Vanilla ice cream
Instructions
- Add the almonds to a nonstick pan on medium low heat. Saute until golden brown. Then remove from the pan and set aside.
- Add the water, sugar, orange juice, and cherries to the pan, turn the heat up to medium. Bring to a simmer, then turn the heat down to a low simmer. Low simmer until most of the water evaporates and turns to a syrup consistency.
- Refrigerate to cool down. Once cooled, spoon over the ice cream and top with almonds.
