  • 1 cup Fire roasted tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup Beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Fresh thyme minced
  • 1 tbsp Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Red onion diced small
  • 1/4 cup Carrots chopped small
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1/2 lb Ground beef
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 slices Crusty bread

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  • In a large pot of boiling water, cook the cabbage leaves until flexible, about 30 seconds. Remove and set aside.
  • Bring the tomatoes, broth, tomato paste, vinegar, and thyme to a simmer. Season with salt and pepper.

  • Cook until the cabbage rolls reach an internal temperature of 160 degrees using a thermometer.
  • Spoon 1 - 2 tablespoons of the sauce over the cabbage rolls. Serve with bread.
