Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Extra-virgin olive oil
- 4 oz Chicken sausage links chopped
- 4 Eggs beaten
- 1/4 cup Cheddar cheese shredded
- 2 Tortilla wraps use your favorite flavored wrap
- Hot sauce optional
- 1 Apple sliced (Check the Fruit guide to substitute seasonal fruits)
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Brown the sausage. Next, add in the eggs and cheese. Move the eggs around the pan using a spatula until they are firm and no longer runny but still moist. Then remove from the heat. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
- In a nonstick pan on medium heat, warm the wrap on both sides until it becomes more pliable and soft.
- Place the eggs on the wrap. Fold in the ends and roll tightly.
- Cut in half and drizzle with hot sauce if desired. Serve with apple.
