Ingredients
Chop Suey
- 6 oz Ground beef
- 1/4 cup Onion diced
- 3 cloves Garlic chopped
- 1 cup Canned diced tomato
- 1 cup Chicken broth
- 1 tsp Fresh thyme minced
- 1 tsp Dried oregano
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 3/4 cup Elbow macaroni or your choice of small pasta
Kombucha
- 24 oz Kombucha cold
Instructions
- Heat a pot over medium heat. Add the ground beef, onion, and garlic. Brown the beef while breaking it up into smaller pieces.
- Add the tomatoes, broth, thyme, and oregano, and season well with salt. Cover with a lid and bring to a simmer for 15-20 minutes. Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Add the pasta, cover with a lid, and cook until tender. Refer to the instructions on the package for cooking time.
- Toast the bread then spread with butter and garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve the soup with garlic bread and kombucha.
