Ingredients

Chop Suey

  • 6 oz Ground beef
  • 1/4 cup Onion diced
  • 3 cloves Garlic chopped
  • 1 cup Canned diced tomato
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 tsp Fresh thyme minced
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 3/4 cup Elbow macaroni or your choice of small pasta

Kombucha

  • 24 oz Kombucha cold

Instructions

  • Heat a pot over medium heat. Add the ground beef, onion, and garlic. Brown the beef while breaking it up into smaller pieces.
  • Add the tomatoes, broth, thyme, and oregano, and season well with salt. Cover with a lid and bring to a simmer for 15-20 minutes. Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • Add the pasta, cover with a lid, and cook until tender. Refer to the instructions on the package for cooking time.
  • Toast the bread then spread with butter and garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve the soup with garlic bread and kombucha.
