Bagel & Chicken Sausage
- 1 Whole wheat bagel or sourdough bagel, sliced and halved
- 2 TBSP Garlic herb cream cheese
- 1 tsp Extra-virgin olive oil
- 6 Eggs
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 oz Chicken sausage links
Fruit
- 1 cup Mixed berries washed
Microgreens
- 1 cup Microgreens fresh
- 1 tsp Extra-virgin olive oil
Coffee
- Coffee
- Sweetener optional
- Creamer optional
Instructions
- Prepare all ingredients as listed.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C). Bake chicken sausage until browned and cooked through to an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Crack in eggs, season with salt and black pepper, and cook to desired doneness.
- Toast the bagel until golden, then spread evenly with garlic herb cream cheese.
- Brew and prepare the coffee to your liking.
- Toss microgreens with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
- Serve the 1/2 bagel with eggs, chicken sausage, microgreens, berries, and coffee.
