Ingredients

Bagel & Chicken Sausage

  • 1 Whole wheat bagel or sourdough bagel, sliced and halved
  • 2 TBSP Garlic herb cream cheese
  • 1 tsp Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 6 Eggs
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 oz Chicken sausage links

Fruit

  • 1 cup Mixed berries washed

Microgreens

  • 1 cup Microgreens fresh
  • 1 tsp Extra-virgin olive oil

Coffee

  • Coffee
  • Sweetener optional
  • Creamer optional

Instructions

  • Prepare all ingredients as listed.
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C). Bake chicken sausage until browned and cooked through to an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Crack in eggs, season with salt and black pepper, and cook to desired doneness.
  • Toast the bagel until golden, then spread evenly with garlic herb cream cheese.
  • Brew and prepare the coffee to your liking.
  • Toss microgreens with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  • Serve the 1/2 bagel with eggs, chicken sausage, microgreens, berries, and coffee.
