Ingredients

Turkey Bacon Avocado Sandwich

  • 4 slices Bacon
  • 4 slices Your choice of bread lightly toasted
  • 2 TBSP Mayonnaise
  • 2 TBSP Yellow mustard
  • 6 leaves Romaine lettuce cut to fit the bread
  • 4 slices Tomato
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 6 oz Deli turkey breast
  • 1 Avocado pitted and sliced

Carrots and Ranch

  • ½ cup Carrots peeled and cut into sticks (or use baby carrots)
  • ½ cup Ranch dressing
  • 2 Pickle spears

Sparkling Chia Fresca

  • 1/2 cup Lemon juice fresh squeezed
  • 2 TBSP Maple syrup or honey
  • 1/2 tsp Chia seeds
  • pinch Salt
  • 16 oz Sparkling water
  • Fresh mint for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare all ingredients as described above.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook the bacon on both sides until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  • Toast the bread to your preferred level of crispness.
  • Spread mayonnaise and mustard on one side of each toasted bread slice.
  • Build each sandwich: slice of bread (condiment side up), lettuce, tomato, turkey, bacon, and avocado, then top with the second slice of bread (condiment side down).
  • Cut the sandwich in half.
  • To make the sparkling chia fresca, combine all the ingredients. Let sit for 5 minutes for the chia to bloom.
  • Serve each sandwich with carrots and ranch, pickle, and sparkling chia fresca.
