Ingredients
Tuna Sandwich
- 8 oz Tuna fish drained (albacore / chunk white tuna / or your preference)
- 2 TBSP Celery minced
- 1/2 tsp Lemon juice
- 3 TBSP Mayonnaise more as needed
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 4 slices Whole grain bread lightly toasted
- 4 leaves Butter lettuce
- 2 TBSP Red onion sliced thin
- 4 slices Tomato
- 2 oz Potato chips
- 2 Pickle spears
Homemade Lemonade
- ½ cup Lemon juice fresh squeezed
- 20 oz Water
- 2 TBSP Sugar use to taste
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a small mixing bowl break up the tuna with a fork. Toss with celery, lemon juice, and mayonnaise as needed until the tuna is to your desired creaminess. Season with pepper to taste. Stir to combine.
- Lightly toast the bread in a toaster oven.
- Assemble Sandwich: Top toasted bread with lettuce, tuna salad, onion, and tomatoes.
- Make Lemonade: Mix all ingredients for the lemonade.
- Serve: Enjoy the sandwich with chips, pickle, and homemade lemonade.
