Ingredients
Rooibos Tea
- 2 Rooibos tea bags or 1 tsp loose-leaf rooibos tea per bag
- 2 cups Water
Eggs
- 2 tsp Butter or oil for cooking eggs
- 4 Eggs
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Divine Dish Cacao Superfood Smoothie
- 3 cups Milk your choice
- 1 Banana
- 1 Dates pitted
- 2 TBSP Peanut butter
- ½ cup Rolled oats
- 1 scoop Protein powder
- 1 TBSP Cacao powder
- ½ tsp Maca powder optional
- 2 tsp Goji berries optional, soaked and drained
- 1 tsp Bee pollen optional, for topping
Instructions
- Prepare all ingredients as listed.
- Boil water for the tea. Remove from heat and steep rooibos tea bags for 5 to 7 minutes.
- Heat butter or oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Crack in the eggs, season with salt and black pepper, and cook to the desired doneness. Remove from heat and keep warm.
- Add milk to a blender, followed by the banana, date, peanut butter, rolled oats, protein powder, cacao powder, maca powder if using.
- Blend until smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed.
- Adjust consistency with additional milk or ice if desired, then blend briefly.
- Finish with goji berries and bee pollen if using. Serve with eggs and rooibos tea.
