Ingredients

Cheesesteak:

  • 2 TBSP Butter softened
  • 1 clove Garlic grated or pressed
  • 2 Sub rolls sliced ¾ of the way through
  • 2 tsp Extra-virgin olive oil
  • ½ cup Onion diced finely
  • ¼ cup Green bell pepper diced (optional)
  • 8 oz Shaved steak
  • ¼ tsp Salt more to taste
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper more to taste
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 2 TBSP Mayonnaise optional

Carrots and Ranch:

  • 1 cup Carrots peeled and cut into 3-inch long sticks
  • ¼ cup Ranch dressing

Lemon Sparkling Water:

  • 24 oz Sparkling water
  • 1 Lemon sliced
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven broiler. Mix the garlic and butter together in a bowl.
  • Toast the rolls on a baking sheet under the broiler. Keep a watchful eye.
  • Heat a drizzle of oil in a pan over medium heat. Saute the peppers and onions until tender and golden brown. Add the shaved steak and saute until nicely browned. Then remove from the heat.
  • * Divide into even portions in the pan. Top each portion with cheese, and place under the broiler to melt.
  • Spread garlic butter inside the rolls. Add mayo uf using. Then place the cheesesteak into the roll. Cut in half if preferred.
  • Add the lemon to the sparkling water.
  • Serve the cheesesteak with carrots and ranch and lemon sparkling water.
