Maple and Brown Sugar Oatmeal with Banana
- 2 cups Water
- pinch Salt
- 1 cup Rolled oats
- 2 TBSP Maple syrup
- 2 TBSP Brown sugar
- 1 TBSP Butter
- 1 Banana sliced
Apple Juice
- 16 oz Apple juice
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil.
- Add a pinch of salt and stir in the rolled oats.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 5 - 7 minutes or until the oats are tender and the mixture has thickened.
- Stir in the maple syrup, brown sugar, and butter until well combined. Adjust sweetness to taste if needed.
- While the oatmeal is cooking, slice the banana.
- Serve the oatmeal topped with banana and apple juice.
