Ingredients
Iced Chai Tea
- 24 oz Water
- 4 Chai tea bags
- Sugar or honey to taste
- Ice cubes
Sandwich
- 4 oz Brie cheese cut into pieces
- 2.5 TBSP Butter softened
- 1 TBSP Fresh chives minced
- 1 TBSP Fresh parsley minced
- 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 clove Garlic grated
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 cup Arugula
- 1/2 TBSP Lemon juice
- 1/2 French baguette cut into 6-inch pieces and sliced in half horizontally
- 6 oz Deli ham thinly sliced
- 2 oz Potato chips
- 2 Pickle spears
Instructions
- Bring the water to a simmer then remove from the heat. Steep the tea bags in the water for 10 minutes. Then refrigerate to cool.
- Let the sliced brie sit out at room temperature while you prepare everything.
- Prep the ingredients per the instructions above.
- Add butter, herbs, Dijon, and garlic to a bowl. Mix to combine. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Add arugula to a bowl. Toss with lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper.
- Spread butter generously inside the bottom half of the baguette. Layer the ham and brie, and season with salt and pepper. Top with a handful of arugula. Cover with the remaining half of the baguette.
- Pour the tea over ice and sweeten with sugar or honey to taste optional.
- Serve the jambon beurre with chips, pickle, and iced chai tea.
