Ingredients

French Fries

  • 2 medium Potatoes Cut the potatoes into ¼ inch-thick sticks (about ½ lb of potato per portion)
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup Ketchup optional

Lemon Caper Aioli

  • 2 tsp Capers mashed with a fork
  • 4 TBSP Mayonnaise
  • ½ tsp Lemon juice
  • ½ tsp Fresh dill chopped
  • 1 clove Garlic minced or grated

Seasoning

  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Sandwich

  • 8 oz Salmon skinless
  • Nonstick spray
  • 2 Brioche buns lightly toasted
  • 2 cups Butter lettuce
  • 4 slices Tomato
  • ¼ cup Red onion sliced thin

Homemade Lemonade

  • 1/2 cup Lemon juice fresh squeezed
  • 20 oz Water
  • 2 TBSP Sugar use to taste

Instructions

  • Prep the Potatoes: Place the potatoes into a large bowl and cover completely with cold water for 20 minutes (see note). Drain well and pat dry with a towel.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (204°C).
  • Add the fries to the air fryer. Cook for 20 - 22 minutes tossing about halfway through until golden brown and crispy. Refer to the directions for the device for cooking time. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Preheat a grill or grill pan on medium heat.
  • Cook the salmon: Lightly grease the top side of the salmon with nonstick spray and season with salt and pepper. Then place that side down on the grill or grill pan. While it’s cooking, season the other side with salt and pepper and lightly grease with nonstick spray. Cook until nicely marked for about 5 minutes, then flip over and cook to an internal temperature of 125°F (51°C). While the salmon is cooking, toast the buns.
  • Toast buns on the grill.
  • Once the salmon is cooked, set aside to rest for 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Make the sandwich: Spread aioli on the inside of both halves of the toasted buns. Layer with lettuce, tomato, salmon, and onion.
  • Mix the ingredients for the lemonade. Serve over ice if desired.
  • Serve the grilled salmon sandwich with fries, ketchup, and lemonade.

Cook until nicely marked for about 5 minutes, then flip over and cook to an internal temperature of 125°F (51°C). While the salmon is cooking, toast the buns.
  • Toast buns on the grill.
  • Once the salmon is cooked, set aside to rest for 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Make the sandwich: Spread aioli on the inside of both halves of the toasted buns. Layer with lettuce, tomato, salmon, and onion.
  • Mix the ingredients for the lemonade. Serve over ice if desired.
  • Serve the grilled salmon sandwich with fries, ketchup, and lemonade.
