Ingredients
Greek Chicken Souvlaki Wrap
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 Lemon juiced
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 2 TBSP Extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp Dried oregano
- 1 tsp Dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
- 8 oz Chicken breast boneless skinless butterflied
Tzatziki Sauce
- 1/2 cup Cucumber rough chopped
- ¼ cup Greek yogurt
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1 tsp Extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 TBSP Lemon juice
- 1/2 TBSP Fresh dill
- Salt
Wrap
- 2 Whole wheat tortilla wraps
- 1/2 cup Onion sliced
- 1/2 cup Tomato sliced
- 1 cup Romaine lettuce shredded
- 2 TBSP Feta cheese crumbled
Carrots and Hummus
- 1 cup Carrots peeled and cut into sticks
- 1/3 cup Hummus
Kombucha
- 16 oz Kombucha
Instructions
- Prep all ingredients per the instructions above.
- In a large bowl, combine Greek yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, oregano, thyme, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken and coat well. Marinate briefly.
- Make the tzatziki sauce: Add cucumber, Greek yogurt, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, fresh dill, and salt to a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Adjust seasoning if needed and refrigerate until ready to use.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat and lightly oil the surface.
- Grill the chicken, turning once, until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Warm the tortilla wraps if desired.
- Spread tzatziki sauce onto each wrap.
- Add grilled chicken, sliced onion, tomato, shredded romaine lettuce, and crumbled feta.
- Fold the wrap and roll to close.
- Serve the wrap with carrot sticks and hummus, alongside kombucha.
