Ingredients
Cinnamon French Toast Sticks
- 2 Eggs beaten
- ½ cup Milk
- ½ tsp Ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 TBSP Granulated sugar
- 4 slices Your choice of bread preferably thick cut bread a day-old or slightly stale
- 2 TBSP Butter for cooking
- ¼ cup Maple syrup for serving

- 16 oz Milk cold
Instructions
- Prep the Egg Mixture: In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, and granulated sugar until well combined. This will be your dipping mixture.
- Cut each slice of bread into sticks about ½ inch in width to create the French toast sticks.
- Place a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and add half the butter. Allow it to melt and coat the pan evenly.
- Dip each breadstick into the egg mixture, ensuring it's fully coated. Let any excess drip off.
- Place the coated bread sticks in the hot skillet. Cook for 2 - 3 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Add more butter as needed to cook the remaining sticks.
- Transfer the cooked French toast sticks to a plate. Serve with maple syrup on the side for dipping and milk. Enjoy your breakfast!
