Ingredients

Coffee

  • Coffee brewed
  • Your choice of sweetener
  • Your choice of creamer

Sausage

  • 4 oz Chicken sausage links

Eggs

  • 2 tsp Butter or oil
  • 6 Eggs
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Bagel with Garlic Herb Cream Cheese

  • 1 Whole wheat bagel or sourdough, sliced and halved
  • 4 TBSP Garlic herb cream cheese

Hot Sauerkraut

  • ½ cup Sauerkraut

Berries

  • 1 cup Mixed berries washed

Instructions

  • Prepare all ingredients as listed.
  • Brew and prepare the coffee to your liking.
  • Preheat the oven to 400F / 204C Cook the chicken sausage until browned to an internal temperature of 160F/71C.
  • Add butter or oil to a skillet, then crack in the eggs. Season with salt and black pepper and cook to the desired doneness.
  • Warm the sauerkraut gently in the skillet or a small saucepan until heated through.
  • Toast the bagel halves until golden, then spread with garlic herb cream cheese.
  • Serve the eggs with sausage, bagel with cream cheese, warmed sauerkraut, berries, and coffee.
