Cottage Cheese Toast with Tomato and Onion
- ½ cup Cottage cheese
- 2 slices Your choice of bread
- 1 Tomato small diced
- 2 TBSP Red onion chopped
- ½ tsp Extra-virgin olive oil
- ¼ tsp Dried oregano
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Cottage Cheese Toast with Lox
- 2 slices Your choice of bread
- ½ cup Cottage cheese
- 2 oz Lox cured salmon, chopped
- 2 TBSP Red onion chopped
- 1 tsp Fresh dill roughly chopped
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
White Grape Juice
- 16 oz White grape juice cold
Instructions
- Toast each slice of bread to your desired level of crispness. Evenly spread ¼ cup of cottage cheese over each slice of toast.
- For the Tomato and Onion Toast: Evenly distribute the chopped onion and diced tomato over the cottage cheese. Drizzle with extra-virgin olive oil. Sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and dried oregano to taste.
- For the Lox Toast: Place chopped lox on top of the cottage cheese. Top with chopped red onion and fresh dill. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve: Plate the toast and serve with chilled white grape juice. Enjoy!
