Cottage Cheese Toast with Tomato and Onion
- 2 slices Your choice of bread
- ½ cup Cottage cheese
- 2 TBSP Red onion chopped
- 1 Tomato small diced
- ½ tsp Extra-virgin olive oil
- ¼ tsp Dried oregano
Cottage Cheese Toast with Lox
- 2 slices Your choice of bread
- ½ cup Cottage cheese
- 2 oz Lox chopped (smoked salmon)
- 2 TBSP Red onion chopped
- 1 tsp Fresh dill roughly chopped
Seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Orange Juice
- 16 oz Orange juice cold
Instructions
- Toast the bread.
- Spread a generous amount of cottage cheese evenly over each slice of toasted bread.
- For the Cottage Cheese Toast with Tomato: Spread the chopped onion and diced tomato evenly over the cottage cheese. Drizzle a little olive oil over the cottage cheese layer. Sprinkle it with sea salt, black pepper, and oregano to taste.
- For the Cottage Cheese Toast with Lox: Place lox on top of the cottage cheese. Place the thinly sliced onion on the lox. Garnish with dill, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the cottage cheese toast with orange juice.
