Chocolate Croissant
- 2 Croissants
- ½ cup Semi-sweet chocolate
Fresh Cherries
- 1 cup Fresh cherries washed and prepared as desired
Coffee
- Coffee
- Your choice of creamer
- Your choice of sweetener
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the cherries: Wash the cherries and pit and destem if desired. Set aside.
- Prepare the croissants: Slice the croissants open without cutting all the way through. Place them on a baking sheet and warm in the oven for 5–6 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the semi-sweet chocolate in 20-second increments, stirring in between, until fully melted and smooth.
- Assemble the croissants: Spread some of the melted chocolate inside each croissant and drizzle the rest over the top.
- Brew the coffee: While the croissants are warming, brew your preferred coffee. Add creamer and sweetener to taste.
- Serve: Plate the chocolate croissants with a side of fresh cherries and coffee. Enjoy!
