Ingredients
Dark Chocolate Croissant
- 2 Croissants
- ½ cup Dark chocolate chips
Scrambled Eggs with Chopped Turkey Sausage and Sauteed Green Peppers
- 1 tsp Extra-virgin olive oil
- ½ cup Green bell pepper chopped
- 4 oz Turkey sausage chopped
- 4 Eggs
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Coffee
- Coffee
- Creamer optional
- Sweetener optional
Instructions
- Prep all ingredients as listed.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the croissants on a baking tray and warm them in the oven until lightly crisped and heated through.
- Place the dark chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave in 20 second intervals, stirring each time, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
- Carefully open each croissant and spoon the melted chocolate inside. Add a little extra chocolate on top if desired.
- Heat the extra-virgin olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped turkey sausage and cook until lightly browned.
- Add the chopped green bell pepper to the skillet and sauté until softened, about 2 to 3 minutes.
- In a bowl, whisk the eggs with salt and black pepper. Pour the eggs into the skillet and cook, stirring gently, until the eggs are just set and fluffy. Remove from heat.
- Brew and prepare the coffee to your liking.
- Serve the dark chocolate croissants with the scrambled eggs and coffee.
