Ingredients
Burgers
- 8 oz Ground beef black angus beef recommended
- ¼ tsp Salt
- ⅛ tsp Black pepper
- 1 tsp Smoked paprika
- 1 TBSP Heinz Carolina Vinegar-Style Tangy BBQ Sauce (for the burger mix)
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 slices Cheddar cheese (for melting on the burgers)
- 2 Hamburger buns
- 1 cup Romaine lettuce
Carrots and Ranch
- ½ cup Carrots peeled and cut into sticks (or use baby carrots)
- ½ cup Ranch dressing
Mango Lassi
- 1½ cups frozen Mango chopped
- ¾ cup Plain Yogurt
- ¾ cup Milk
- 1 TBSP Sugar to taste
- ¼ tsp Ground cardamom
Instructions
- Make the Burgers: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, Heinz Carolina Vinegar-Style Tangy BBQ Sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until fully combined.
- Form the mixture into patties.
- Heat a pan or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patties on both sides to your desired temperature (see below). Melt the cheese over top.
- Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a pan until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by placing lettuce and a burger patty on the bottom half of the bun and drizzle additional Heinz BBQ Carolina Vinegar Style Tangy on top. Cover with the top half of the bun.
- Make the Mango Lassi: In a blender, combine the chopped frozen mango, yogurt, milk, cardamom powder, and sugar. Blend until smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
- Serve the burgers with carrot sticks and ranch dressing and mango lassi.
