Ingredients
Salted Honey Lavender Latte
- 1 cup Your choice of milk
- 4 tsp Honey
- 1 cup Coffee
- ½ tsp Lavender flowers (dried or fresh)
- ½ tsp Flaky sea salt
Everything Bagel with Garlic Chive Cream Cheese
- 2 Everything bagels
- 4 TBSP Garlic chive cream cheese softened
Eggs
- 2 tsp Butter
- 4 Eggs
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Start by making the salted honey lavender latte. In a small saucepan, warm the milk over medium heat until it starts to steam (do not boil).
- Stir in the honey and culinary lavender.
- Let it simmer gently for 2 - 3 minutes to infuse the flavors.
- Meanwhile, brew the coffee.
- Strain the lavender from the milk mixture if using dried lavender. Froth the milk using a milk frother if desired.
- Finish the latte with a sprinkle of flaky salt on top.
- Toast the bagels. Spread with cream cheese on both halves.
- Melt the butter In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, cook the eggs to your preference (sunny-side-up, over easy, scrambled).
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the eggs with bagel and latte.
