Ingredients
- 1 lb Chicken breast boneless skinless
- 4 cloves Garlic finely minced
- 2 tbsp Extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp Lime juice
- 2 tsp Honey
- 1 tbsp Ground cumin
- 2 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Ground coriander
- 1 tsp Dried oregano
Green Sauce:
- ½ cup Sour cream
- ½ Jalapeño pepper diced (optional)
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1 cup Fresh cilantro
- ¼ tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Lime juice
Instructions
- In a bowl add garlic, oil, lime juice, honey, cumin, paprika, coriander, oregano and season with salt. Stir. Toss it with the chicken in a bowl, coating all sides well. Marinate while the grill heats up or overnight for more flavor.
- Preheat a grill on medium heat.
- Green Sauce: Place all the ingredients in a blender and blending until relatively smooth, scraping down the sides if necessary. Set aside.
- When the grill is hot, grill the chicken, searing both sides well, then turn the heat down or move the chicken to a cooler side of the grill to allow the chicken to cook through to an internal temperature of 160 degree using a thermometer.
- Serve the chicken with the green sauce.
