Ingredients

Cheeseburgers

  • 8 oz Ground beef
  • ½ TBSP Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 Hamburger buns lightly toasted
  • 2 slices Your choice of cheese optional
  • 4 leaves Butter lettuce
  • 4 slices Tomato
  • 2 slices Red onion thinly sliced

Sauce

  • 2 TBSP Ketchup
  • 1 TBSP Mayonnaise
  • 1 TBSP Mustard

Carrots & Hummus

  • 1 cup Carrots peeled and cut into sticks (or baby carrots)
  • ½ cup Hummus

Lemon Sparkling Water with Chia Seeds

  • 24 oz Sparkling water cold
  • 1 Lemon sliced
  • 2 tsp Chia seeds

Instructions

  • Prepare all ingredients as listed.
  • In a bowl, mix the ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper until just combined, then form into equal-sized burger patties.
  • In a small bowl, mix the ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard until smooth and fully combined, then set aside.
  • Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat and cook the burger patties for about 3 minutes on the first side, then flip and continue cooking to your liking.
  • If using cheese, place a slice on each patty during the final minute of cooking and allow it to melt.
  • If desired, toast the hamburger buns cut side-down in the pan or on the grill until lightly golden.
  • Assemble the burgers by spreading the sauce on the buns, then layering the bottom bun with butter lettuce, tomato slices, beef patty, red onion, and the top bun.
  • Combine the sparkling water, lemon slices and chia seeds. Stir thoroughly, let sit for 2–3 minutes, then stir again to prevent clumping.
  • Serve the cheeseburgers alongside the carrots and hummus, and lemon chia sparkling water.
