Ingredients
1/2 Bagel with Veggie Cream Cheese
- 1 Your choice of bagel sliced in half
- 4 TBSP Vegetable cream cheese
Chili Oil Scrambled Eggs
- 1 TBSP Butter
- 4 Eggs beaten
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 TBSP Chinese chili oil
- 1 tsp Red pepper flakes
Fruit
- 1 cup Fresh fruit such as orange slices, berries, or banana, washed and prepared as needed
Orange Juice
- 16 oz Orange juice cold
Instructions
- Prepare all ingredients as listed above.
- Toast the bagel halves in a toaster or grill pan until golden brown. Spread vegetable cream cheese evenly on each half.
- In a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat, melt butter. Add half of the chili oil and red pepper flakes.
- In a bowl, beat eggs with salt and black pepper. Pour eggs into skillet and cook gently, stirring with a spatula, until just set, about 2–3 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Drizzle the remaining chili oil over the scrambled eggs.
- Plate the chili oil scrambled eggs with the bagel halves. Add fresh fruit on the side. Pour orange juice into glasses.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your flavorful breakfast!
