Chili Oil Scrambled Eggs

Ingredients

1/2 Bagel with Veggie Cream Cheese

  • 1 Your choice of bagel sliced in half
  • 4 TBSP Vegetable cream cheese

Chili Oil Scrambled Eggs

  • 1 TBSP Butter
  • 4 Eggs beaten
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 TBSP Chinese chili oil
  • 1 tsp Red pepper flakes

Fruit

  • 1 cup Fresh fruit such as orange slices, berries, or banana, washed and prepared as needed

Orange Juice

  • 16 oz Orange juice cold

Instructions

  • Prepare all ingredients as listed above.
  • Toast the bagel halves in a toaster or grill pan until golden brown. Spread vegetable cream cheese evenly on each half.
  • In a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat, melt butter. Add half of the chili oil and red pepper flakes.
  • In a bowl, beat eggs with salt and black pepper. Pour eggs into skillet and cook gently, stirring with a spatula, until just set, about 2–3 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Drizzle the remaining chili oil over the scrambled eggs.
  • Plate the chili oil scrambled eggs with the bagel halves. Add fresh fruit on the side. Pour orange juice into glasses.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy your flavorful breakfast!
