Ingredients
Cacao Superfood Smoothie
- 2 TBSP Peanut butter
- 1 Banana frozen if preferred
- ½ cup Rolled oats
- 1 TBSP Cacao powder
- ½ tsp Maca powder optional
- 2 TBSP Honey to taste
- 3 cups Milk your choice
- 2 tsp Goji berries optional, soaked in water for 20 minutes then drained (fewer than 10 berries per smoothie)
- 1 tsp Bee pollen optional, for topping
In-Season Fruit
- 2 cups Fresh fruit e.g. cantaloupe, watermelon, grapes
Instructions
- Prepare all ingredients as listed above.
- In a blender, combine peanut butter, banana, rolled oats, cacao powder, maca powder (if using), honey, and milk. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
- Adjust the texture: add more milk to thin or ice cubes to thicken, then blend briefly. Taste and adjust sweetness with more honey if desired.
- Top with goji berries and bee pollen if using. Serve with fresh fruit on the side. Enjoy your energizing breakfast.
