Ingredients

Cacao Superfood Smoothie

  • 2 TBSP Peanut butter
  • 1 Banana frozen if preferred
  • ½ cup Rolled oats
  • 1 TBSP Cacao powder
  • ½ tsp Maca powder optional
  • 2 TBSP Honey to taste
  • 3 cups Milk your choice
  • 2 tsp Goji berries optional, soaked in water for 20 minutes then drained (fewer than 10 berries per smoothie)
  • 1 tsp Bee pollen optional, for topping

In-Season Fruit

  • 2 cups Fresh fruit e.g. cantaloupe, watermelon, grapes

Instructions

  • Prepare all ingredients as listed above.
  • In a blender, combine peanut butter, banana, rolled oats, cacao powder, maca powder (if using), honey, and milk. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  • Adjust the texture: add more milk to thin or ice cubes to thicken, then blend briefly. Taste and adjust sweetness with more honey if desired.
  • Top with goji berries and bee pollen if using. Serve with fresh fruit on the side. Enjoy your energizing breakfast.
