Ingredients
Grilled Burger
- 8 oz Ground beef
- 1/2 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
- Salt
- Black pepper
- 2 Hamburger buns lightly toasted
- 2 slices Your choice of cheese (optional)
- 4 TBSP Ketchup or choice of condiments
- 4 leaves Butter lettuce
- 4 slices Tomato
- 2 slices Red onion thinly sliced
Grilled Corn
- 1 ear Corn on the cob shucked
- 2 tsp Butter
Watermelon
- 2 slices Watermelon
Mango Lassi
- 1 1/2 cups Mango frozen and chopped
- 3/4 cup Yogurt plain
- 3/4 cup Milk
- 1/4 tsp Ground cardamom
- 1 TBSP Sugar to taste
Instructions
- Prepare all ingredients as described above.
- Make burger patties: In a bowl, mix ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Form into burger patties.
- Grill the burgers: Heat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Grill each patty for 3 minutes on one side, then flip and cook until the desired doneness is reached.
- Add cheese (optional): Place a slice of cheese on each patty and let it melt while the burger finishes cooking.
- Toast the buns (optional): Place the hamburger buns cut-side down on the grill until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers: Layer the bottom half of each bun with butter lettuce, tomato slices, grilled beef patty, and red onion. Top with ketchup or other condiments and the top bun.
- Grill the corn: Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium heat. Grill the corn on all sides until tender. Then spread with butter and season with salt and pepper. Cut in half to serve.
- Make the mango lassi: In a blender, combine frozen mango, yogurt, milk, cardamom, and sugar. Blend until smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness as desired.
- Serve the grilled burgers with grilled corn, watermelon slices, and mango lassi.
