Turkey Bacon Avocado Sandwich

Ingredients

Sandwich

  • 4 slices Bacon
  • 4 slices Your choice of bread lightly toasted
  • 2 TBSP Mayonnaise
  • 6 leaves Romaine lettuce trimmed to fit the bread
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 6 oz Deli turkey breast
  • 1 Avocado pitted and sliced
  • 2 Pickle spears
  • 1 Apple sliced

Pineapple Orange Juice Spritzer

  • 6 oz Pineapple juice chilled
  • 6 oz Orange juice chilled
  • 12 oz Sparkling water

Instructions

  • Cook Bacon: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook the bacon on both sides until crispy, then drain on paper towels.
  • Toast Bread: Lightly toast the bread slices to your preference.
  • Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of toasted bread.
  • Assemble Sandwich: Layer the bread with romaine lettuce, deli turkey, crispy bacon, avocado slices, and the second slice of bread. Cut the sandwich in half for easier serving. Cut in half.
  • Prepare Drink: In a pitcher or glass, mix chilled pineapple juice and orange juice with sparkling water. Stir gently and serve immediately.
  • Serve the sandwich with pickle spears and apple slices on the side. Serve with the pineapple orange juice spritzer.
