Ingredients
- 4 oz Cream cheese softened
- 2 tsp Fresh chives chopped, plus more for garnish
- 1 TBSP Fresh dill plus more for garnish
- 1/4 tsp Flaky sea salt
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
- 1/8 tsp Cayenne pepper optional
- 1/8 tsp Lemon zest
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
- 12 slices Snack rye bread small tea sandwich slices
- 8 ounces Smoked salmon or lox
- 1 cup Carrots peeled and cut into 3 inch sticks
- 4 TBSP Ranch dressing
Cranberry Lime Spritzer
- 16 oz Cranberry Juice
- 2 tsp Lime juice
- 8 oz Sparkling water
Instructions
- Preheat broiler on low.
- In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, scallions, dill, salt, pepper, cayenne (if using), lemon zest, and lemon juice.
- Place bread slices on baking sheets. Broil for 1-2 minutes on each side or until lightly toasted. Spread with cream cheese mixture; top with lox.
- Prep the carrots per the instructions above.
- Mix all the ingredients for the spritzer. Serve over ice if desired.
- Serve the salmon toast, garnish with chives and dill, enjoy with carrot sticks and ranch, and spritzer.
