Ingredients
- 2 Apples peeled and sliced
- 2 TBSP Honey
- 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 1 cup Yogurt
- 1/2 cup Granola sweet granola
Matcha
- 4 oz Water heated to 190 degrees
- 12 oz Milk
- 1/2 tsp Matcha Green Tea Powder
- Honey or sweetener of choice
Instructions
- Heat the water to 190°F (90°C).
- Make apples: Prep apples per instruction above. Set a saute pan over medium heat and add the honey, cinnamon, and apples. Bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally, until the apple softens and caramelizes. Then remove from the heat and set aside.
- Warm milk for matcha: Heat the milk in a saucepan on medium low heat, stirring occasionally until hot. Do not bring to a simmer or boil.
- Make matcha: Sift the matcha into a mug to get rid of any lumps. Pour in the hot water. Using a matcha whisk or small regular whisk, whisk briskly from side to side until the matcha is fully dispersed and there is a foamy layer on top. Add the steamed milk and whisk again until foamy. Sweeten to taste with honey, if desired.
- Serve: Top the yogurt with apple and granola. Enjoy with matcha.
