Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound Ground beef
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp Yellow mustard
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp Onion powder
  • 2 slices Sourdough bread or bread of your choice
  • 1/4 cup Cheddar cheese
  • 1 oz Potato chips
  • 2 Pickle spears

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven broiler on low.
  • Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Crumble in the beef and brown until no longer pink while breaking it up into smaller pieces. Stir in the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder. Bring to a low simmer, stirring occasionally, to develop flavor. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Then remove from heat.
  • Spoon the mixture over the bread and top with cheese. Place under the broiler until melted.
  • Heat a non-stick pan over medium-low heat. Lightly grease with nonstick spray as needed. Cook the sandwich on both sides, covered with a lid, until golden brown and the cheese has melted.
  • Cut in half and serve with chips and pickles.
