Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground turkey
  • 3 tbsp Onion diced
  • 1 Green bell pepper diced
  • 1/2 tbsp Chili powder use more if you like it spicy
  • 2 tbsp Ground cumin
  • 2 tbsp Paprika
  • 2 cups Crushed tomatoes
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 cup White beans rinsed and drained
  • 4 tbsp Sour cream
  • 8 tbsp Cheddar cheese shredded
  • 12 Tortilla chips garnish
  • 1/2 Jalapeño pepper sliced (optional)

Instructions

  • In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground turkey, breaking it up into smaller pieces with a spatula for about 5 minutes. Add in the onions, peppers, and all the spices. Cook for another 5 minutes mixing everything together. Add crushed tomato, chicken broth, beans, salt and pepper. Simmer for about 35 minutes partially covered with a lid. Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt if needed.
  • Serve with sour cream and cheddar cheese on top. Garnish with tortilla chips and jalapeno (if using).
