Turkey Sloppy Joe

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 3 tbsp White vinegar
  • 2 cups Green cabbage shredded thin
  • 8 slices Sourdough bread lightly toasted
  • 4 tsp Thousand Island dressing
  • 8 oz Deli turkey breast sliced thin
  • 8 slices Tomato
  • 4 oz Swiss cheese sliced
  • 2 oz Potato chips
  • 2 Pickles halved

Instructions

  • In a bowl whisk together the sugar and vinegar until the sugar dissolves. Add the cabbage and toss together well. Season with salt and pepper and set aside.
  • Lightly toast the bread.
  • Drain the cabbage well and lay on the bread. Top with dressing, turkey, tomatoes and season with salt and pepper, and cheese.
  • Cut in half and serve with chips and pickles.
