Ingredients

Sandwich

  • 4 slices Bacon
  • 4 slices Your choice of bread lightly toasted
  • 2 TBSP Mayonnaise
  • 6 leaves Romaine lettuce trimmed to fit the bread
  • 4 slices Tomato
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 6 oz Deli turkey breast
  • 1 Avocado pitted and sliced

Sides

  • 2 Pickle spears
  • 1 Apple sliced

Pineapple Orange Juice Spritzer

  • 6 oz Pineapple juice chilled
  • 6 oz Orange juice chilled
  • 12 oz Sparkling water

Instructions

  • Cook the bacon: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook the bacon on both sides until crispy, about 4–5 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
  • (For food safety, ensure bacon is cooked to a crisp texture at 160°F (71°C).)
  • Toast the bread: While the bacon is cooking, lightly toast the bread slices to your preference.
  • Prepare the spread: Evenly spread mayonnaise on one side of each toasted bread slice.
  • Assemble the sandwich: Place romaine lettuce on two slices of toasted bread. Add tomato slices and season with salt and black pepper. Layer with deli turkey breast and crispy bacon. (For food safety, ensure turkey is kept at a safe cold temperature of 40°F (4°C) or below before serving.) Top with avocado slices. Place the second slice of bread on top.
  • Slice the sandwich: Cut the sandwich in half for easier serving.
  • Prepare the drink: In a pitcher or glass, mix the chilled pineapple juice and orange juice with sparkling water. Stir gently and serve immediately.
