Ingredients

  • 2 cups Your choice of bread diced small
  • 1 tbsp Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup Celery diced small
  • 1/4 cup Carrots peeled and diced small
  • 1/4 cup Onion diced small
  • 1/2 tsp Ground thyme
  • 1 tsp Poultry seasoning
  • 1 cups Chicken broth

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  • Layout the bread on a baking sheet and toast in the oven until crunchy and golden brown.
  • Heat the oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Sauté the celery, carrots, and onion until they start to soften.
  • In a baking dish, mix the bread, sautéed vegetables, ground thyme and poultry seasoning, chicken broth, salt, and pepper.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes or until crisp and golden brown on top.
  • Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
