Steak Flatbread

Ingredients

  • 12 oz Sirloin steaks substitute deli roast beef if desired
  • 1 tbsp Steak seasoning montreal steak seasoning or comparable brand
  • 4 Flatbread use more or less depending on size
  • 2 cups Romaine lettuce shredded
  • 12 Heirloom grape tomatoes quartered
  • 4 tbsp Red onion shaved
  • 2 tsp Crumbled blue cheese just a light sprinkling
  • Balsamic glaze drizzling

Instructions

  • Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat.
  • Season both sides of the sirloin well with steak seasoning and salt. Cook the steak on both sides to your desired temperature using a thermometer (see below). Once cooked, set aside to rest for 5 minutes before slicing thin against the grain.
  • Heat a nonstick pan on medium heat. Warm the flatbread on both sides to golden brown.
  • Top the flatbread with lettuce, tomatoes, onion, steak, and blue cheese. Drizzle with balsamic glaze. Season with salt and pepper if needed.

Notes

Steak Internal Temperatures:
  • Rare: 115 - 120 degrees F
  • Medium Rare: 125 - 130 degrees F
  • Medium: 135 - 140 degrees F
  • Medium Well: 145 - 150 degrees F
  • Well Done: 160 degrees F
