Sloppy Joe Cheesesteak

Ingredients

  • 4 Sub rolls split lengthwise and lightly toasted
  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1/2 cup Green bell pepper diced
  • 1/2 cup Onion diced
  • 2 tbsp Steak seasoning montreal steak seasoning or comparable brand
  • 4 oz Provolone cheese shredded
  • Yellow mustard optional

Instructions

  • Lightly toast the rolls.
  • Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add in the beef, peppers, onions, and steak seasoning; cook while breaking the beef up into smaller pieces until no longer pink; season with salt and pepper.
  • Lower the heat, top with cheese and cover with a lid until the cheese has melted. Mix everything together and portion the meat onto the bread. Cut in half and serve with mustard or your favorite condiments.
