Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup White rice rinsed
  • 1 cup Red kidney beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 tsp Ground cumin
  • 1 tsp Ground turmeric ground

Instructions

  • Add the rice, beans, cumin, turmeric, salt and pepper to a pot. Stir together with the suggested water according to package directions. Cook according to the instructions on the package
  • Once cooked, drain any excess water if needed. Adjust the seasoning with salt to taste before serving.
