Prepare all ingredients as listed above.
Preheat oven: Set oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a small loaf pan (about 5×3 inches) or line with parchment paper.
Mash banana: In a medium mixing bowl, mash the ripe banana until smooth.
Add wet ingredients: Stir in pumpkin purée, egg, melted butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Mix dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Combine mixtures: Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just incorporated. Fold in nuts or chocolate chips if desired.
Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
Make the cinnamon honey butter: In a bowl mix butter, honey and cinnamon until combined.
Brew coffee: Prepare coffee to your liking and add sweetener or creamer if desired.
Serve: the pumpkin banana bread with cinnamon honey butter, fruit, and coffee.
