Instructions
In a cast iron skillet or heavy gauged saute pan on medium heat add half of the oil and all of the popcorn kernels and cover with a lid. Once the kernels start popping occasionally shake the pan to redistribute the kernels. Remove the pan from the heat once the majority of the kernels have popped and popping has slowed down.
Add the popped kernels to a bowl, drizzle with the rest of the olive oil or melted butter if preferred, and season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
