Philly Cheesesteak

Ingredients

  • 2 Sub rolls split lengthwise and lightly toasted
  • 1 tbsp Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup Green bell pepper diced or sliced
  • 1/2 cup Onion diced or sliced
  • 6 oz Shaved steak
  • 1/2 tbsp Steak seasoning montreal steak seasoning or comparable brand
  • 2 slices Cheddar cheese halved
  • 2 tbsp Yellow mustard
  • 2 Pickle spears

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Lightly warm the rolls.
  • Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the oil. Sauté the green pepper and onion until soft. Add in the beef and steak seasoning; saute until nicely browned and no longer pink. Season with salt and pepper if needed to taste.
  • Portion the steak mixture onto the rolls and top with cheese. Bake in the oven until the cheese has melted. Serve with mustard or your favorite condiments.
  • Cut in half and serve with pickles.
